What was equally stunning was how blatantly Omaha was guilty of having a man in the crease on the winning goal and that no one wearing stripes noticed it. Sad

Every league at every level of hockey, from mites to the NHL has a rule dealing with a player in the goal crease.

So, in the IHL, a player can go stand in the crease all night long and there's no rule against it?

I find that a bit hard to believe.

they aren't going to dis-allow a goal in the IHL if a player is in the crease. On numerous occasions i've seen goals where a player was well beyond the thresh hold of the crease.

trust me

I'll bet they do have the rule, but that they just don't enforce it.
