MCCONNELL TO MAN EAST BENCH AT ALL-STAR GAME

INDIANAPOLIS – Joining the four Indiana Ice players at the 2008 USHL Prospects/All-Star Game will be Ice Associate Head Coach Scott McConnell. McConnell will join Guest Coach Pat Funk behind the bench for the East Division at the annual classic slated this year for Tuesday, January 29th from the Resch Center in Green Bay, WI.

McConnell will be making his first appearance at the mid-season classic and is one half of the Ice’s coaching tandem that is responsible for the team’s best start in franchise history where the team is 22-6-3 at the midway point of the year.

The Madison, Wisconsin native increases the Ice’s contingent at the contest to five as he joins players John Kemp, Greg Squires, Paul Carey and John Carlson who were East Division nominations last week.

The Indiana Ice is a member of the United States Hockey League, America’s only Tier One league.
